When Sheenu arrived at the academy early in the morning he was told by his teacher that the students would be undergoing earthquake training. The teacher walked around the classroom and gave each student an envelope and said

"In each envelope you will find the location in question that you are to do your training. You may leave at once and when you get there you will find a training doll there. I want you to wait for the instructor to get there so you can start training."

With that said Sheenu opened his envelope and headed to the location addressed there.

Sheenu got there and saw that there was nothing much to see here, grasslands and a few tree's and of course the doll. Sheenu looked around to see if he could find the trainer and saw that there was none around so he sat under one of the few trees and waited for the instructor so he could prove what Nara's were made of.

It was a couple of hours later and sheenu was still lightly resting. With the shade all around him and the cool breeze brushing against his skin as he sat there and leaned against the tree he kind of hoped the the instructor would take just a little longer. then as if out of no where he heard some rustling in the trees and was awake with a flash and already hoped in a crouching position with his kunai in hand.

"Well when you were told to make sure that the doll was safe we didn't mean use it as a cushion while you slept...ahh that's a Nara for you though"

After hearing the comparison of himself to the rest of his family he felt a little hurt but he saw the man that said it. He was an average size man (probably around 5'10" Sheenu thought) with a black onepeice on and on his face was a strange mask the kind of looked cat like. This man was clearly Anbu and wasn't here for a frolock in the park.

"I take it your the earthquake survival instructor" Sheenu replied to the man confidently not wanting him to know he was hurt by his last remark

"Yes Sheenu I am and I know all there is to know about you so I want you to know this before we start, your shadow imitation technique is no good in this excercise and I will intervene if and only if you are about to die, are you ready Sheenu?"

Sheenu took a deep breath and grabbed up the doll and told the Anbu member "I'm ready bring it on"

With the doll in hand he waited for something to happen then he saw the anbu's hand movements...or tried to at least. The speed that the anbu's hands were moving at he had a better chance of catching a cheeta with his bare hands. That's when it happened the earth started to shake.

At first sheenu thought "hey this isn't that bad I can do this and still be home for dinner," As if the anbu heard his thoughts though the earth started to crack. Sheenu realized that not only was this not his day but it was going to be a long one...a very long one.

The earth started to split open and rocks from the the sides were falling. For a split second he dropped the doll not expecting it to be this bad.

Sheenu reached and he just barely managed to grip the dolls arm. He had no time to think at the moment it was either do or die so he started jumping rock to rock. He wasn't exactly graceful as a gazel but it did the trick. He managed to gip the side of the newly formed hole and throw the doll up first, seems it the doll was the main priority, and then he brought himself up. Sheenu realized that that was but one danger.

The First thing Sheenu thought of was the trees because that would give him altitude and he could ride out the shock. Sheenu with doll in hand jumped for the nearest tree. The tree wasn't the biggest but he thought the branches are thick enough it should do the trick. What Sheenu didn't think of is the quick wits of the anbu.

"Sorry Sheenu tree's aren't going to save you"

With that said Sheenu recognized that there was a shock underneath the tree big enough to up root it. Sheenu had to think quick because he knew it wouldn't be long before the tree would crush him like a bug. That's when it hit himhe saw that behind the tree was a ledge of a cliff side. All he had to do was get from here to there.

He had to time it just right there was no time for error. He waited until the tree nearly hit him and he grabbed the branch and used it to swing from here to the ledge. As he sat upon the ledge he thought "finally done phew,"

But of course it was to good to be true because at this point he heard the anbu raising his voice above the earthquake "so Sheenu are you just going to let this other doll fall to it's death or are you saving it to?"

Shock writen on his face he realized that he may have to go into the pit again because the doll was right on the edge.

Sheenu didn't have time to think about the situation he had to think on his feet, which he thought he was doing a pretty good job of lately. Sheenu automatically jumped from the ledge hoping that the anbu wouldn't touch the other doll. The second Sheenu's feet touched the ground he started a mad dash toward the pit.

Just he he arrived there he dove for the doll seeing that it was starting to fall. Sheenu missed the doll by mere milimeters and he watched for a moment as he saw the doll plunging into the darkness. With a groan Sheenu was back into the pit not knowing if he could make it to the doll or more importantly if he did how to get up.

Sheenu fell for a minute or so and then he saw the other doll it was in his grasp. Sheenu reached out as far as his body would let him and managed to grab the fingers of the doll. He pulled the doll close to his body and started to look around thinking of a way to get out because if there was a bottom to the pit they were getting there fast and he didn't want to be there to see it happen.

To his left he saw a small root protruding from the side of the hole. He knew it was a long shot but he had nothing to lose he reached out and tried for the fast comming root. He let out a small scream of pain as the friction from grabbing the root while falling burned his hand. He had the root but now what this wasn't getting him up any faster. After looking around for a few moments he knew what he had to do, he had to go rock jumping again.

He started to jump from rock to rock and he realized that it was harder this time. he wasn't sure if this doll was heavier or if it was because he was further down this time but he had to give it his all no matter what.

While jumping he noticed that at the last second there was a rock the same size as himself that was going to his him square in the head. He pounced from the rock to the side of the wall and then back to the rocks. "Man that was close I almost got decapitated from this training, intervene if your going to die my butt," Sheenu complained after he was in the clear.

Sheenu finished going up the hole and landed on the ground outside the hole. He found that it was a much more graceful landing that the last time he came out of that pit. He quickly dispersed those thoughts though because he still had to manage to get this doll to safety as well.

Sheenu started to run with the doll. He decided that the best spot would be the ledge again because that way they were off the ground and then the dolls were together as well. There was only the problem of getting up because there was no falling tree this time to propel him.

He managed to dodge the obstacles that the anbu threw his way and he managed to make it to the cliff. The earthquake was comming up fast and Sheenu knew he could think about it no longer. Sheenu tied the wrists of the dolls together and started to climb the ledge with his bare hands. When he made it to the top though his hands were bloody and bruised but he was there with 2 dolls and he hoped that there wasn't a third.

The anbu spoke and broke Sheenu's concentration "it's ok Sheenu you can stop there,"

At once the earthquake stopped and the pit that was there was closing in as this was happening though the anbu spoke again, "there is only two dolls and if I do say so myself you rescued them perfectly. Keep it up like that and you will deffinately go places in this village. Oh and don't worry I'll make sure that your teacher gives you and A for this because you deserve it,"

With that the anbu was gone as fast as he appeared. Not wanting to think anymore about this day he started for home for a very much needed bath and sleep.
