I wake up midmorning and climb out of bed.
I look over at my brother's bed to find him still sleeping.
"Well since he's sleeping I guess I will go out for a walk."

I wake up when I hear the door close. I check my phone for messages, and I see one from the girl I met yesterday. I respond to it with "oh, hey, how's it goin?". Then I call sora to see where he's at, cause I noticed that he wasn't in bed, and I had heard the door close

I pull my phone out of my pocket and notice it was Jace.

Sora:Hello?

"hey man, where are you? and do you remember where i put the leftover breakfast? sorry, i'm just hungry and i forget"

Sora:I'm halfway down the street. And you put it in the fridge next to the OJ. I'll be back in a bit.

I hang up the phone and continue walking down the street towards the woods.

i go looking in thr fridge and i find it, "mmm, hell yes, i love food" i say as i heat it up, i finally put it on a plate, and chow down, completely forgetting to use a fork or a knife

Once I enter the woods I start going down the dirt path.
I get pretty far before I realize it was farther then where my brother would let me go alone.
I turn back around until I hear something move.
I turn back around with my hand glowing with a blue aura around it.
"Who's there?"

It's been quite a while and I'm starting to get just a bit worried, so I send him a text that says, "so where are you? You better be around home by now"

I pull out my phone nervously and then text back, im almost there kay?

I put my phone away and look one last time before I start to head back.
Until I hear a voice behind me.

Bandit:Hey kid hand over any money and items you may have unless you want to die.

Sora:I don't think that's going to happen.

I then fire a burst of blue energy at him knocking him over then I sprint back with him close by.

'well hurry up, it almost seems like you went too deep into the forest. Seriously. You should be home right now. What the hell!'

I feel my phone vibrating as I run but ignore it.
I then glance back and see him close to catching me so I blast a tree knocking it in his way.
I was almost back to town.

Bandit:You're going to learn from running from me!

Sora: *pant* *pant*

I then get back on the normal trail and I could see the town just ahead.

I heard a tree crack in the distance, and it was a violent crack, so it wasn't just some lumberjack cutting it down. It was a spell that knocked it down. "s***!" I exclaim as I sprint outside, stumbling as I turn, but I stay up, and I sprint my way towards where I heard the tree, and I see sora, sprintinging, towards my direction. Behind him, I see a man. A bandit, no less. "I hate bandits" I run even faster than a sprint. I'm getting closer. "SORA!!! Get your ass over here, I'll handle this! I shout as I take out my hammer

Sora:*gasp* Jace!

I run behind him and then stop to catch my breath as I watch to see what he was going to do next.

i watch as the bandit sees me and slows down with a smirk on his face.
"well look what we have here, two little kids, this shouldn't be a problem" he says
"oh yeah? clearly you haven't met two hero children"
"hero children? heros are just myths, and i'm about to teach you that the hard way"
"sure you will, i always love it when i come across a stupid bandit, although most of them are usually smart enough to bring around at least 2 other bandits with them, maybe an assassin"
with that he comes at me, but what he hadn't realized was that i was getting ready for a flourish attack, so when he got to me i unleashed the blow and it sent him flying, but i quickly took out my turreet rifle and sjot him 4 times and he was gone
"sora,you can take the xp on this on"

Sora:O... Okay thanks Jace.

I absorb the xp that was around the area but only half of it.
Then I look at Jace.

Sora:Here now its even.

"fine, i guess i'll take the rest. oh well, at least it makes me look more attractive for the ladies" i say, with a cocky grin on my face, "i'd still much prefer you to at least knock him ot before running away, then throwing a tree at him. so that you actually earn the xp"

"Im sorry Jace. Its just that I didnt expect him to appear like that and I paniced when my magic didnt knock him out or something."
I then use my magic to start floating near his height level.
"Besides my magic isn't that strong yet."

"Then use your sword. Seriously. I give you enough strength xp to at least make you be able to use that thing, so use it." I say, not in a condescending voice, just in a calm one

"Sorry I left it cause I didnt think that I would need it... Sorry..."
I look at the town when we arrive and then stop floating.
"So now what?"

"Now, I train you as best as I can. And please, never leave the house without it. I always keep my weapons in my bed beside me, so that I'll have them when I wake up, you should do something of the sort" I say to let him know, "and also, I'll be having a friend come over soon, just lettin you know"

"I bet its a girl right?"
I then start to think on the fact of training again.
"Jace how am I suppose to enhance my magic?"

"actually no, it's a guy, and as for the training, I'll take you to the beetle cave tomorrow" I say, forthe second time today I check my messages, I got one back from the girl saying she wanted to "hang out" wiggle soon, and I got one charlie (the one who's coming over) asking if it would be alright if he could bring a girl over, to which I replied "yeah, sure, but don't spend your whole time making out, I actually want to hang out man"

"Well okay but I dont see the need to tell me. Cause you know what im going to do. Im just going to meditate in my room like always."
I look at all of the people walking around the town.
"Well lets go home then. Dont want you to keep your friend waiting."
I laugh a little and then head towards the house.

"yeah, i know, but it's just in case anything disturbs you, i don't want to be blamed. i know you'll be meditating and i'll let charlie know. and no, we don't want to keep my friends waiting, although he's probably already on our couch now. either reading a magazine, or makin out with his girlfriend"

"So let's hurry!"
After we get to the house I open the door and see Charlie and his Girlfriend walking around the livingroom.
I look at Jace surprised that he was right.
"Well Im going upstairs to meditate."

"okay man, see you in a couple of hours" I say to sora, then I turn to Charlie and the girl, "so, what's your name?" I ask her
"my name is Miranda" she replies
"oh, that's a nice name. I haven seen you around here, where are you from?"
"I'm from oakfield, my family just moved here. My dad is a potions trader, and my mom sells pies"
"oh really? That's cool, so Charlie, what's up man?"
"ah nothing much, just been hangin around town lately"

(fast forward to night time)

"I forgot to ask, you guys got to be somewhere or you stayin over?"
"Nahh, we were planning on going back to my place" says Charlie.

They leave and I go upstairs and knock on sora's door lightly, the I quietly ask, "hey, you still meditating?"

The door slightly opens allowing entrance.
I sit criss cross in midair in a deep trance.
I hover up and down lightly.
Until I let the trance go and I see Jace standing there.
"Oh hey Jace."
I look out the window.
"Wow it's already night time?"

"yeah man, it's night time. so, what kind of stuff did you think about?" i ask, but i feel that, for the hundredth time, that he won't give me a straight answer

"Well I was trying to measure the universe with my own soul to make my magic a little stronger but it didnt work... How was your friends?"

"you were trying to measure the universe? sounds to me that that is a bit too much science to improve magic, don't forget that. and also, i'm glad to see him, he was gone for a while. didn't i tell you? his dad got sent to the tattered spire so he had to go live with his uncle for a while, but his mom got en0ough money to be able to keep him." i say, glad that he was back

"Well that's good to here and im also glad that you're happy. I feel a lot better when you're happy."
I let myself land to the floor and then I smile at Jace.
"So mow what are you going to do?"

"i dunno, i was just gonna talk to you for a bit, then mayeb go to bed, or text some people, you never know, but i'm glad to know you care so much for me, but don't care too much. you know i'm evil bro, the proof is right here *i point to my horns* one day, i'm gonna do something a little too bad, and then there'll be no turning back, and i don't want you following the same path"

I feel my heart start beating faster at the thought.
"I... I know big brother I cant help it... But still I want you to be happy. So what do you want to talk about?"

"haha i don't know, how about today. what happened this morning? did you go too far into the forest?"

"*gasp* i was hoping you woulldnt bring that up... But yes I did and im sorry... I wasnt really paying attention."
I look at him with a nervous smile.

I turn off my light and lay under the covers.
I sigh lightly completly relaxed.
After a few minutes I fall asleep.

I wake up early, unwillingly. I try to go back to sleep several times but I can't. I eventually get out of bed and head downstairs. I make myself some breakfast and sit down at therefor and eat it. When I'm finished I go and read some more of my book. After about an hour of reading it seems time that I wake sora up. I go upstairs and knock on his door, "hey man, get dressed, I'm taking you to the beetle cave in a short bit, and I want you to eat something before we go." I say as I go put a shirt on and make sure my weapons are secure.

I wake up and look around sleeply.
I then sit up and grab some clean clothes.
After I change I head down stairs rubbing my eyes as I walked.
"Why so early Jace?"
I grab some OJ and sit down sipping it lightly.

"I'm just anxious to see what my little brother can do to some beetles, that's all" I say

"Right... So why are we going to fight beetles for anyway?"
I finsh my OJ and stand up with some more energy.

"not we, you, you are going to fight beetles. And you are going to fight them with some will spells to get some xp. Training, remember" I say, matter-of-factly

"I still say it's a little to early for this but okay..."
I grab a small bottle with a blue liquid and put it in my pocket.
"Well Im ready are you?"

"i've been ready for several hours. and i'll be there in case it becomes too difficult for you, don't worry" i say as i open the door and we head out the the caves. most people are forbidden from entering the caves, but heros are given a special pass. so we were alright to go in.

"Okay well that's good to hear..."
I follow him to the caves a little excited and a little nervous.
I walk alongside him until we get to the caves.
"Wow its pretty creepy..."

"don't worry, it'll all be good" i say as i grab a torch and light it, so we can see. we start to head in, and there's a bunch of clicking sounds. i'm not worried about it, but i can sense that sora is a bit freaked out. "seriously, chill out man, worying won't help at all. it's all safe, even if they do hurt you, it'll just sting like a mosquitoe."

"Well if you say so. But if I mess up dont laugh."
I look around the place trying to see if I could find the clicking source.
"I dont like this..."
I follow behind Jace as I look around until I stop to look at a crystal.
